Karen Keith, 82, of Marble Rock, died Friday, August 2, 2024, at the IOOF Home in Mason City. Woodley Funeral Home, Greene is caring for Karen and her family. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 8, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Marble Rock, with interment at West Side Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Woodley Funeral Home, 519 N. 1St St., Greene.

Karen Kay Keith was born January 2, 1942, the daughter of Roy and Eva Schrage. She was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart Edward Keith on May 3, 1964 at the Presbyterian Church in Greene. She farmed with her husband and operated a hair shop rural Marble Rock for over 30 years.

Karen was an animal lover and took care of many strays over the years. With Edward she went on many fishing trips to Canada and they made sure to attend all of their grandchildren’s school and sporting events.

Living family members include her children: Brian (Angela) Keith, Marble Rock; Daphne (Barry) Landers, Greene; grandchildren: Tyler Keith; Dylan Keith; Gabrielle Keith; Josie Landers; Mallory Landers; in-laws: Judy (Charles) Schnack and David (Linda) Keith.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband Edward and her parents.
