HAMILTON COUNTY – An Eagle Grove man was arrested for drunk driving after a vehicle fire.
The incident occurred on June 13. At about 9:55 PM, according to a report from the sheriff’s office, deputies assisted the Woodstock and Webster City fire departments on a vehicle fire at 180th Street and Highway 17. As a result of an investigation, 57-year-old Robert Fry of Eagle Grove was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and failure to maintain control.
Fry was jailed and soon posted bond. He awaits arraignment on July 22.
