SPIRIT LAKE – A Spirit Lake woman was caught with illicit drugs during a traffic stop Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at approximately 9:35 pm the Spirit Lake Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Blue 2012 Chevy Malibu in the 1500 block of Hill Avenue. While making contact, the odor of Marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. Upon further investigation, drug paraphernalia, a green leafy plant material believed to be Marijuana, and a white crystal substance believed to be Methamphetamine were located inside the vehicle. As a result, 64 year old Debra Sue Kula was arrested and booked into the Dickinson County Jail on the following charges:
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misd)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana (Serious Misd)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine (Serious Misd)
