MASON CITY – A Mason City teen was located this morning after being reported missing days ago.
On Feb 28, 2018, Cassidy Askildson was reported missing. She was last seen at school that day. Several friends, classmates, and contacts have been contacted over the last couple days by officials looking for Cassidy. Police said they’re not able to locate her. They say this is not the first time that Cassidy has run away and that there are concerns about some possible medical and safety issues for Cassidy.
Police asked for help locating Cassidy and said anyone harboring a runaway could face prosecution.
Then, on March 3 at about 11:18 A.M., the Mason City Police Department located Cassidy Askildson safe and sound at a residence in Mason City. They thanked the public for helping locate Cassidy.

so is the owner of the residence gunna be charged with “Harboring a runaway”?? do you know how many man hours a yr is put in by police searching for the runaway. I have first hand knowledge from yrs ago, over 200 runaways a yr.!!! the public doesn’t know about most of them. Now that’s a lot of manhours wasted.
Not wasted if it’s your loved one. Too much sex trafficking going on to not spend the time.
