UPDATE: Missing woman sought by Clear Lake police has been found

CLEAR LAKE – Police in Clear Lake were looking for clues to help find a missing woman, but now say she has been found.

The Clear Lake Police Department was seeking the public’s assistance in locating 77-year-old Patricia Ann Monson. Monson is believed to have left home during the morning hours of Monday, August 28, 2017 and has not been heard from since. Monson is believed to be driving her blue 2006 Honda Odyssey van with Iowa plate AAB 836.

Tuesday morning, police say Patricia was reported to be in the area of Sauk County, Wisconsin Monday night around 11:30 PM. Law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin have been notified, especially Sauk and Dane counties.

Tuesday afternoon, Clear Lake Chief of Police Pete Roth said “Patricia Monson has been located and is safe. Family members have been notified. We appreciate the public’s assistance in this matter.”
