CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man has been caught drunk driving for the second time this year.
On Saturday, August 26, 2017 at about 9:33 PM, a Charles City police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road in the 800 block of South Main Street. After an investigation, the driver, 45-year-old Toby Wulff of Charles City was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of the road. He was jailed and soon released, pending a court date.
Wulff was caught drunk driving by a Floyd county deputy back on February 10, 2017. In August he pled guilty to first-offense operating while intoxicated. Records show he appears to have not lost his driver’s license and half his fine was suspended. He was sent to jail for two days and ordered to pay $993.75 in fines and court fees.
