MESERVEY – A North Iowa man is behind bars Sunday night for firing a gun from his house.
On March 19, 2017 at about 5:33 PM, the Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shot being fired inside the city limits of Meservey, IA. Upon investigation, it was discovered that 60-year-old Kevin Meints of 238 Third Street S in Meservey had discharged a firearm from his residence.
Meints was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm within city limits.
