MASON CITY – Mason City police are warning of a phone scam.

Police say they have had three local businesses so far that have reported a phone scam. Someone is calling local businesses; the unknown caller claims to be employed with Alliant Energy and threatens the recipient that they are going to disconnect their utilities for unpaid bills. So far the fraudster has asked the recipient to use a credit card or go wire money.

Anyone receiving unsolicited contact from utility or bank companies should write down name and contact information and then follow up with their local businesses. Police advice do not give out personal info, credit card info, or wire money to someone if you have not verified the reason first through a local (known) contact.

Scam phone calls -spam emails -abc/cnn/msnbc broadcasting demorat lies – mainstrean media feeding you their demorat owned lies – the NORM – as like the rats say killing of Americans by ISIS will be a normality that we will have to accept?

Have you ever wondered why things seem to never get better? The fighting never ends, because its not meant to. Conflict gives people something to fear yet rally behind. We live in a corporate run society that thrives off of destroying things. Just to rebuild them over and over again.
