MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was taken to jail for stealing from Walmart.
The incident took place Saturday, January 28, 2017 at about 7:40 PM, when Mason City police were called to Walmart, located at 4151 4th Street SW for a theft and criminal mischief complaint. As a result of the ensuing investigation, 53-year-old Brenda Kay Gwin of Mason City was arrested for criminal trespassing and aggravated misdemeanor third-degree theft.
Gwin was jailed and then later released as she awaits a February 17 hearing. She was guilty of third-degree the back on 2013 after an arrest by Mason City police.
Hey, Mason city… when you look like you smoke meth and drink all day long, stores are trained to detect that you already don’t follow the law. It doesn’t take a genius to know someone like this is going to steal everytime.
