NEW YORK – It’s a New Year, but no change in demeanor from President-elect Donald Trump, as he mocked Hillary Clinton and her election team Monday for cancelling the fireworks show that was planned in case she won.
November 8, 2016 was one punishing night for Hillary Rodham Clinton, and winner Donald J. Trump is making sure she never forgets. Allegedly, Clinton and her surrogates had planned quite a celebration if she had won the Presidential election – complete with fireworks.
However, Mr. Trump said he knew it was all over but the crying for Hillary and her left-wingers when they pulled the plug on the fireworks display that night.
“I thought and felt I would win big, easily over the fabled 270 (306),” Mr. Trump recalled fondly Monday via his favorite conduit for data – Twitter.
“When they cancelled fireworks, they knew, and so did I,” he said, referring to the disastrous Clinton campaign.
Reportedly, the Clinton campaign got permission from he Coast Guard for a short fireworks display over the Hudson River, to be launched in the minutes after the results were to come out. However, as TMZ first reported, they cancelled the fireworks show ahead of time.
In a historic outcome, Trump romped to victory in the Electoral College even as Clinton edged Mr. Trump by only about 2 million or so votes. Mr. Trump claims many of those votes were cast illegally, but that has not been officially confirmed.

The ethics committee was created by nancy pelosi, a lot of people know what kind of a person she is. One should think that she would have investigated all the scandals that went on in government the last eight years. Unless a person would read (all) political rhetoric, and was able to sort it all out and understand it, that person wouldn’t know what was going on anyway.
So, are you saying the Congress doesn’t need oversight because that is what the Republicans are saying. Their bill says the committee they want to create will not have to make public who they are investigating, what they find out, and it gives them the power to drop any investigation they choose without giving reasons. I don’t care who created it, it was a good idea. The Republicans want to use this to investigate who they choose, when they choose and what they reveal. Not draining the swamp.
All politicians need oversight, but Democrats need it the worst.

Republicans voted to eliminate the ethics oversight committee, looks like they’re prepping for what will surely be the most unethical and corrupt administration ever. Not letting Prestige get in here and electing Trump over Hillary, we dodged two big ones. Let’s give the business man a chance. Let’s make some changes to our corrupt government. It has to be cleaned out as much as we can and let’s start over again. The media had everyone convinced Hillary was the winner long ago. TG they were way wrong. We need a female president but not HER.
He really doesn’t have to worry about anything at this time, as he’s not in office yet. Be careful what you wish for.
Of course he said before he thought he would lose on election night. His memory is failing bigly. And when is he going to grow up and start worrying about major league things rather than all the piddly crap he tweets.
