CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man threw another man down a flight of stairs and pummeled him, causing serious injuries, and now faces a felony.
The alleged assault took place at Bikerz Bar, 313 Main Avenue in downtown Clear Lake on January 15, 2017. After 2 AM that morning, Bonorden allegedly pushed victim causing the victim to fall face first down a flight of stairs. Clear Lake police tell NIT that Bonorden “continued to assault victim and caused serious injury.”
The victim – who police believe was acquainted with Bonorden – was hospitalized for several days. They are not sure how the fight started.
Bonorden was later arrested on a charge of felony willful injury. He remains held in the Cerro GOrdo county jail on $10,000 bond. He awaits a hearing on February 3.
