A 2005 GMC truck driven by 65-year-old Dale Westendorf of Rockford, Iowa was traveling south on County Road S-56 Monday morning at about 9:40 AM at County Road S-56, about 0.5 of a mile south of 190th Street. Westendorf lost control of his vehicle and entered the east ditch. The truck struck a utility pole, then rolled several times.
As a result of the crash, Westendorf was transported to Mercy Hospital by Mercy Air Life. His condition was unknown at the time of this release.
