Local thief and forgery artist sent to prison

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman caught stealing and committing forgery a number of times has been sent to prison for up to 15 years.

Tiffany April Davison, age 40, was sentenced in January of 2016 to up to 15 years in prison after a number of forgery, theft and burglary convictions. Davison has also used last names of Glaser and Boyce.

She has been known to cash phony checks and allegedly pass fake money.

On April 2, 2015 at about 10:45 AM, loss prevention employees called police to report a shoplifter. Police arrived and after an investigation, arrested 38-year-old Tiffany April Glaser of Mason City. She was charged with third degree theft. In addition, Glaser was charged with violating her probation in connection to her earlier guilty plea to possession of methamphetamine.

Glaser remains in the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in Mitchelville.
