State Senator Jack Hatch to Branstad: “Stop playing games”

State Senator Jack Hatch

“Governor Branstad, stop playing partisan political games and start helping improve the health care of Iowans”

Statement by State Senator Jack Hatch

“Governor Branstad should stop playing partisan political games and start helping improve Iowa’s health care.

“While 17 other states are making health insurance better and easier to purchase, Iowa’s governor is complaining about “process” rather than catching up.  Iowans of both parties simply want Governor Branstad to work with the Obama administration to make buying private insurance easier and to help uninsured Iowans.

“Health and Human Services Secretary Sebelius agreed to the request from Republican Governors for additional time to determine how they wish to go forward regarding the establishment of health insurance exchanges.  Everyone involved in Iowa health care hopes this overture will convince Governor Branstad to stop complaining and start working on solutions.

“Here’s the bottom line: Iowans expect Governor Branstad to implement federal law by working with both the President, the Iowa legislature, and with Iowa health care providers and consumers.

“Let’s get to work!”

I just have to believe that all of these smart people that are against Obamacare have a reason for their beliefs. Obamacare really scares me. I have talked to my doctors and they try to be politically correct but it comes through that they are dead set against it. I know the hospitals are against it. Who knows what to believe anymore as all the politicians either lie or misrepresent almost every issue.

what a buch of BS Hatch. You are playing the game to put your name out there for Gov. job
