CHARLES CITY – A Rockford man pled guilty to a lesser charge in a child sex abuse case and received a suspended sentence, probation and a fine.
Brent Michael Drees, age 43, pled guilty in September to a charge of lascivious acts with a child involving fondling or touching, an amended charge from second-degree sexual abuse. Drees had allegedly put his hands on a 12-year-old girl and caused her emotional harm. The alleged crime took place in March of 2012.
Drees was given a suspended 10-year prison sentence, 5 years of probation, must register as a sex offender and submit a DNA profile. He must have no contact with the victim for 5 years. Drees must also pay $23,064.83 in fines and other fees.

SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
They will never see the fine money. Someone should just shoot him for what he did to that little girl.
23k in fines? No wonder he walked – If this were my daughter he better RUN out of the state.
