CLEAR LAKE – A deputy arrested a Clear Lake couple after they showed up where they were not wanted.
On the evening of May 25, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office took a report of trespassing. Law enforcement responded, and made a traffic stop near 12264 Dogwood Avenue in rural Clear Lake just before 8 PM. According to Sheriff Kevin Pals, Thomas Wade Gregor, age 48, allegedly “went to the victim’s house knowing he is not welcome and made a scene and took off. Gregor’s wife (Kristina Lynn Gregor, age 32) was driving the car when the trespass took place.”
The deputy investigated during the traffic stop, and arrested the couple. Thomas Wade Gregor was charged with trespassing, and Kristina Lynn Gregor was charged with first offense operating while intoxicated. Both posted bond and were released from jail.
See that’s your interpretation of what happened! So no it’s not true..”your interpretation” I was not pulled over in a vehicle nor was my wife driving the vehicle when the incident took place. Not was I ever told not to be at the location I went to. Just like your article about Dr. Lala yesterday! You publish BS information!
Well Mr. Gregor, you will have your day in court. The fact remains, you were arrested and charged, as was your wife. We reported directly from the media report and even got a quote from the sheriff. Nothing was made up, whatsoever, on our end. Those are indisputable facts, my good friend. We will see how the courts rule. If you don’t like our story, perhaps you should get a lawyer and sue?
Go back and look at my comments never blamed the police! I have friends that are officers and respect for them! And I also take responsibility for my actions! What I don’t like is people like you that publish incorrect information! So here is a tip for you stop publishing false information…
Exactly NIT I don’t see anything in that report that says there was a traffic stop in 1200 block of dogwood because there wasn’t or that I was in a vehicle with my wife because I wasn’t or that I made any type of scene! That is all false information!
Mr. Gregor, read the story more closely. We wrote: “a traffic stop near 12264 Dogwood Avenue” . The sheriff’s media report says “Addresses Involved
12264 Dogwood Av , Clear Lake, IA 50428” Now, you may not have been specifically stopped and arrested at that exact location, but that is the address where some kind of disagreement is alleged to have taken place. Really, you are splitting hairs. You were allegedly at that residence, then, a short time later, stopped and arrested. Is this not true? Why were previously told not to be at that address, and then went there anyway?
Tom nowhere in any of this does it say “1200 block”. The fact is that it would be the 12000 block.. You were arrested, as was your wife. Quit bitching.
Either Kevin Pals should read his deputy’s report before giving out false information or NIT shouldn’t report false information! There was no traffic stop in the 1200 block of dogwood. Nor was I in a vehicle with my wife! And simply pulling into a persons driveway and turning around and driving out is hardly making a scene.

@Tom-here is a tip for you. Don’t go where you are not wanted, and, tell your wife not to drink and drive. Everyone wants to blame the police for their mistakes. You know the law or at least at your age you should. Follow the law and there is no problem.
