RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – An uninsured Osage driver was cited after she was involved in an auto accident with an Osage couple, causing them minor injuries.
According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of 305th Street and Thrush Avenue at about 7:47 PM on Friday night, May 15.
Tamil Hill, age 60 of Charles City, was driving a 2008 Chevy Impala when she pulled onto Thrush Avenue into the path of a 2003 Chevy Silverado, driven by 53-year-old Sandra Ellen Wilde. The Silverado struck the Imapala broadside.
Wilde and her passenger, 69-year-old Richard Arnold Wilde, both of Osage, both received minor injuries in the accident. They were treated and released at the scene by Mason City and Plymouth fire medics.
Hill was cited for failure to yield, no driver’s license, no insurance and no registration.
