Fort Dodge police raid two alleged drug houses, arrest one

FORT DODGE – Police in Fort Dodge today announced results from an on-going drug investigation.

On Monday, April 20, 2015 at approximately 10:30 AM, the Webster County Drug Task Force executed two search warrants that were the result of a lengthy narcotics investigation in Fort Dodge. The addresses searched were 1338 3rd Avenue NW, lot 95 and also 1311 4th Avenue South. Through the safe execution of those warrants, law enforcement was able to seize quantities of illegal narcotics along with other types of contraband and stolen items.

Also, in connection to those events, 51-year-old Kelly Beightol of Fort Dodge was located inside one of the residences and arrested on a warrant that was for violation of probation, which had been issued out of Emmetsburg, Iowa. Beightol was transported to the Webster County Jail on that charge.

Investigations and charges will continue to follow as the Task Force’s mission is ongoing with this case.
