ARLINGTON, IOWA – Booze and teens don’t mix, and cops put the kibosh on a drinking party in this small Iowa farm town over the weekend.
On April 19, 2015 at approximately 4:53 AM, Fayette County Deputies responded to a residence in Arlington, Iowa for a noise complaint and possible underage drinking. When cops arrived on the scene, all individuals fled on foot.
Soon thereafter, 18-year-old Zachary Wade Stevens of Oelwein was located in a field west of Arlington. Stevens was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail on charges of public intoxication and possession of alcohol under the legal age of 21.
The incident remains under investigation and more arrests are pending.
