WATERLOO – Violent crime apprehension law enforcement in Waterloo stopped a car early Tuesday with a “strong odor of marijuana” and found a loaded handgun inside.
On April 7, 2015 at approximately 1:30 AM, officers with the Waterloo Police Department’s Violent Crime Apprehension Team conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 2800 Block of W. 9th Street reference a traffic violation. At that time, officers observed the front passenger reaching toward the floor board area of his seat. The passenger was identified as 25-year-old Tyrone Parrow Jr. of Waterloo. Officers also observed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During a search, officers located a loaded 9mm semi-auto handgun underneath Parrow’s seat. Parrow was eventually booked into the Black Hawk County Jail for Carrying Weapons and for Possession of a Firearm as a Felon due to a previous domestic abuse conviction. He remained jailed Wednesday pending a court date.

I just don’t think he cares.
I wouldn’t want to be a police officer in Waterloo. It’ just a matter of time before a police officer is forced to shoot an afro American, then the race will be on.
