CLEAR LAKE – A Texas woman lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 35 north of Clear Lake Monday and suffered an injury, along with one passenger.
Shala Brane Strickland, 21, was driving south on I-35 at about 8:21 AM Monday in a Dodge Ram pickup truck when she lost control of the vehicle after driving over ice and snow on the roadway.
According to a report, the vehicle began to fishtail and then rolled, entering the median and coming to rest on it roof, facing west.
Strickland and one passenger, a two year old child, were injured and taken to Mercy Hospital in Mason City. A male passenger was uninjured and transported to Mercy, as well.
