Cops catch Mason City car burglar with meth

MASON CITY – A man previously convicted of burglarizing cars parked at the county courthouse was located by police on a warrant and he is accused of having the powerful drug methamphetamine in his possession.

Police caught up with Anthony Dale Linderman, age 23, on the evening if January 14 during a routine stand-by at a residence at 405 21st Street SE. Linderman was wanted on an arrest warrant in connection with a felony forgery case. Linderman was identified and taken into custody on the warrant when the methamphetamine was discovered. He is being held on bond i the county jail at this time as he awaits an upcoming court date on January 23.

Linderman was accused in 2011 of burglarizing cars parked in the parking lot at the Cerro Gordo courthouse. He later pleaded guilty to third degree burglary.
