MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man arrested earlier this year for his second drunk driving offense has pleaded guilty.
Michael Lee Magnan, age 34 of Clear Lake, entered a guilty plea on November 24 to second offense operating while intoxicated after an arrest by a Cerro Gordo deputy back in April. He was sentenced to 14 days in jail and ordered to pay $2,731.25 in fines and court fees. Magnan is now serving his sentence.
Magnan was also caught in 2006 by Clear Lake police for drunk driving.
