Mason City man pleads guilty to second offense drunk driving

MASON CITY – A Mason City man stopped by the Iowa State Patrol for drunk driving has entered a guilty plea and is in jail at this time.

Christopher Huebner, age 31, was pulled over at 13th Street and North Penn Avenue on the evening of July 6. A Cerro Gordo deputy assisted in the stop. Huebner was charged with second offense operating while intoxicated.

On October 10, Huebner pled guilty to second offense operating while intoxicated. He was sent to jail for 7 days and ordered to pay $2,737.25 in fines and court fees.

Huebner was convicted of operating while intoxicated in 2005; he was also stopped by the Iowa State Patrol in that case.
