NIT – You know you eat too much of it already, but will a recipe change make you want to eat more Kraft Macaroni and Cheese?
Kraft announced that it is changing its macaroni and cheese recipe to remove artificial preservatives and synthetic colors in an attempt to “meet the needs of our KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese lovers”.
Saying that “nutrition needs have evolved” and revealing that customers told Kraft they want “simpler ingredients”, Kraft says that by 2016, all their macaroni and cheese varieties “will … be made with no artificial flavors, preservatives, or synthetic colors.”
Kraft says its pasta will be “made with no artificial flavors, preservatives, or synthetic colors. We switched to colors sourced from spices, reduced saturated fat by 25%, and have taken our first steps to include more whole grains”.
Sound tastier than ever, or do you prefer it just the way it is?
