IOWA FALLS – Mental Health First Aid Training will be offered on Saturday, August 23rd from 8:00am to 5:00pm at Bethany Lutheran Church.
This training is intended to help the public learn skills to help individuals who are showing mental health symptoms or experiencing a mental health crisis such as: depression, anxiety, impulse control and misuse of alcohol and other drugs. The program will be presented by certified Mental Health First Aid USA instructions Jason Haglund and Andrea Dickerson.
This training is intended for primary care professionals, employers, business leaders, faith communities, school personnel and educators, law enforcement officers, and the general public.
