MASON CITY – A man who arrived at the Cerro Gordo County Jail – allegedly under the influence – was arrested Sunday.
According to jailers, Chad Duan Dean, age 39, “came to the jail on his own and was arrested on new charges of Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.”
It was not disclosed why Dean came to the jail in the first place. Court records show Dean with a long criminal history – most recently a guilty plea to trespassing in May – and several felony charges over the years, some of them serious drug charges.
Dean was released Monday with an undisclosed court date.
