Alleged weed possessor accused of beating up girlfriend’s parents back in jail

MASON CITY – A Mason City man is back in jail this week after skipping his court date related to marijuana possession.

Kevin Joseph Arndt, age 30, surrendered to police Wednesday after he failed to appear for an arraignment on May 12 related to a marijuana possession charge. He is being held on $1,000 cash-only bond. No new court date has been set.

Arndt does, however, face a court date on May 16 related to two serious assault charges stemming from a May 2 incident where Arndt alleged attack and assaulted the parents of his girlfriend at their home. Police were called twice that day to 123 5th Street NW to investigate an assault that left two persons with injuries. They later found Arndt in the vicinity of that residence and place shim under arrest.

Real winner beating up older folks.

Why don’t we just let him make bail again? Give him another chance to ignore the law.

Well that proves it. Cannabis leads to violence. LOL
