MASON CITY – A Kanawha man accused of stealing a belt buckle from a Mason City store is back in jail on a warrant for his arrest.
According to Mason City police, Jimmy D. Harris, age 18 of Kanawha, was arrested at about 1:30 PM on Friday, February 7th at Mills Fleet Farm after he tried to steal a $10 belt buckle.
Harris had posted bond on February 10, but due to a violation of his pre-trial release, a warrant was issued for his arrest on March 28 and he had been wanted ever since.
Harris is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $600.00 cash-only bond.
