BURCHINAL – A Rockwell man has allegedly committed two violent acts in the month of March and was arrested both times.
On March 31 at about 10:49 PM, Cerro Gordo deputies were called to 11921 2nd Street in Burchinal after dispatchers received an incomplete 911 call from that residence. Upon arrival, deputies determined that a physical domestic assault had occurred. Lee Alan Best, age 24, was arrested for domestic assault causing bodily injury.
Best was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and booked and later released on his own recognizance. He awaits an April 18, 2014 hearing.
Best was also arrested by Cerro Gordo Deputies after a March 2, 2014 domestic assault incident. Best was given a deferred judgement and one year of probation by Judge Ronald Wagenaar. He was ordered to pay $$227.92 in court costs and fines.
