ANN ARBOR, MI – Iowa couldn’t quite get over the hump against the national champion runners-up Wednesday night, losing to the Michigan Wolverines 75-67.
Melsahn Basabe registered a season-high 17 points in the loss. Aaron White scored 14-straight second half points during the final eight minutes. He scored 16 of his 17 points in the second half.
Iowa travels to Evanston, Ill., to take on Northwestern on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. on the Big Ten Network.
