NORTHWOOD – An annual picnic for all veterans is set to be held again this year in Northwood.
Are you a Veteran? IF so, you are invited to the 15th Annual ALL VETERANS – ALL ERAS Family BBQ Picnic on Aug. 18th at the Northwood Shelter house, Worth County fairgrounds
300 13th Street North. Indoor serving will start at 12:00 o’clock Noon. Come earlier if you want to check out fundraiser of military and patriotic items and enjoy the band before lunch. Free door prize tickets for all.
All Veterans BBQ is hosted by local Vietnam Veterans of America, Jerry Parmley North Star Chapter 790. All era veterans of all branches of service from around the region will be gathering … from WW2 to Korea to Vietnam to Desert Storm to Iraq and
Afghanistan troops, cold war servicemen and women of all ages. Spouses or a guest are invited to enjoy the activities also.
Good ole American menu of burgers, bratz, soft meat, hot dogs, beverages. No platters please….plates & utensils provided. Appetizers, side dishes, salads, and yummy desserts to share are very welcome and very appreciated to create a super buffet
with lots of variety. A four piece band and door prize drawings are planned also.
