KNOXVILLE, IOWA – One Iowan is dead today after a single-vehicle rollover incident southeast of Des Moines.
According to a report, at about 1:13 AM Sunday morning, a 1998 Saturn four door vehicle driven by 29 year-old Jonathan T. Sinnard of Knokville was eastbound on old Highway 92 near the intersection of 186th Place when the vehicle crossed the center line and entered the north ditch, causing Sinnard to lose control. The vehicle rolled several times and came to rest in the north ditch.
Sinnard was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was uninjured.
Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by Knoxville police, Marion County Sheriffs and Knoxville Fire and ambulance.
