PYONGYANG – Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is back in North Korea at this time, meeting with Supreme leader Kim Jong Un, whom Rodman calls a “friend.”

It was reported that Rodman may seek to persuade the North Koreans to release an American hostage, Kenneth Bae. Bae is a tour operator and Christian missionary who was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in a North Korean prison camp and is reported to have health problems.

Rodman was in North Korea earlier this year and was shown on news reports sitting and chatting freely with Kim Jong Un. His “foreign policy advisor” tweeted at the time “Great way to put the good will and positive political capital with Kim, which you developed on your NK trip, to good use!!!”

Rodman fancies himself to be a world traveler. In recent months, he has tweeted from Italy, Brazil, Poland, Lebanon, Egypt, Spain and Scotland, many times remarking on the women in those countries.

To have this freaky looking guy do over there trying to represent the U.S. makes no sense at all. Can you imagine what the world will think of us. I am surprised he can get a passport with his drug past.

The world knows we are a country of many types of people. And that show-boaters like Dennis represent nothing but his over-inflated ego.

This was showcased by his response to the media upon leaving North Korea the other day. “My friend for life” was his quote to the media.

That gives you an indication of what kind of person Rodman is. His Comrade is a killer of his own people, either starving them, or working them to death in labor camps.

Maybe they are hoping that Kim Jung Un just might hand the hostage over as a sign of good will with Rodman. It would be great.

Rodman does not represent the United States on anything, much less foreign relations. If Ken Bae gets released, fine, good effort. But it should not compromise our position with that dictator and our mission. I fear in the long run, it will do more harm than good.

He is really just saying and ???? out of disguise.

North Korea is a good place for Rodman. He should just stay there as far as I’m concerned.
