CR Gazette: Mayor’s bike ride draws largest crowd ever

CEDAR RAPIDS – The Cedar Rapids Gazette reported that a Mayor’s bike ride held this weekend in that city drew it’s largest crowd ever.

The event drew about 400 participants, according to the Register, and riders could pick either an eight mile ride or a two and a half mile “fun ride” through the city.

A similar event held in Mason City drew only 17 participants.

Cedar Rapids is an Eastern Iowa city of 128,000, while Mason City has a population of 28,000.

Sounds like we need to make a trade C.R. mayor for Bookmeyer.

Although Matt would like you to believe that this is an article from the Cedar Rapids Gazette making mention of the Mason City’s Mayor’s Bike Ride. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Here is a link to the real Cedar Rapids Gazette story. No mention of Mason City. (You may need to cut and paste.)

Yet another opinion piece made to look like a news story.

Nice try at discrediting N.I.T. But if you will bother to look the comment about Mason City is in red, telling you that is a add on by N.I.T. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Of course if you are just looking to find fault you would pretend not to see that so you could make a snarky comment.

I think you may have a comprehension issue going on.

It all shows me that the people of Cedar Rapids are into excercise. The people here would rather sit and squak behind a computer.

Nobody likes him. It is simple as that. His own campaign committee didn’t show up….

Wow-400 people. We had 17 here. Now what does our mayor do wrong??
