Volunteers needed for United Way’s $1 cereal give

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA – United Way of North Central Iowa and MOM Brands are partnering for the annual $1 cereal sale on June 15 in St. Ansgar. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to benefit United Way of North Central Iowa. Beginning at 10 a.m., look for MOM Brands’ semi-truck trailer on 4th Street between the St. Ansgar Post Office and 4th Street Coffee.

Volunteers are needed to help fulfill cereal orders the day of the event. The opportunity is open to people of all ages. The event is a great chance for families, friends or neighbors to come together for a fun day and give back to Mitchell County. MOM Brands is the nation’s largest family-owned cereal company, and since 1919 they’ve been in the business of feeding families and of giving back to the communities where they live.
