Op-ed: Johnson and Honken deserve no mercy (by Peter Children)

Angela Johnson should be shot; then thrown in a shallow trench and then brought back to life and repeat the procedure five times.  This woman is one of the great misfits of our time and generation.  The same is true of Honken her accomplice.

In most countries these two people would be rotting in unmarked graves by now. This is a prime example of the leniency of our justice system.  They both were given fair trials, given legal representation; which is far more than the five people who were shot were given, and now at costs that approach $100.00 a day we’re still feeding them and providing clean sheets.  Something is terribly wrong here.

While our legal system is without doubt the finest anywhere on earth it still lacks in many instances.

If you can actually pull the trigger on a six year old child, and it is proven, then they should have spread plastic sheeting, drop cloths like the painters use, out on the parking lot next to the courthouse, then take these people out there and shot them.  Then our sanitation department could pick them up with fork lifts and put them with the rest of the trash.

Atrocities such as this are not suppose to happen in towns like ours; the same goes for people like Honken & Johnson.  This is Iowa, a state that is 96% white doted with churches and used car lots, things like that are foreign to us folk.  Being prudent such as we are, we should amend our laws to limited any and all appeals to no more than 12 months. If we did that we wouldn’t be dealing with shit like this now.

“I’m just trying to point out that perhaps the War on Drugs creates more casualties and harm then the actual drugs themselves.”

Johnny D. was a man who distributed cigarette vending machines. He had almost a monopoly you might say. He would go into bars, remove the old machine, and place his there. And no one argued with him or his ‘crew’. Not unless you wanted to look like a plate of chopped liver after his associates got done with you.

In the same line of reasoning Peter L, would Johnny D. have been a victim of Government enforcement of racketeering laws? A logical person would say no. Your thinking however is, yes, he would be a victim because the Government was cracking down on mobsters of the ‘Outfit’ (organized crime).

What most of us find repulsive, you find perfectly acceptable.

“One could argue all of the victims were part of the Government’s “War on Drugs”.”

One could try to argue that, however in the end, it is not some disease that prompted their behavior, but their choice. Victims never have a choice, hence the term.

Would you call a person going down U.S. 65 at 40 mph in a 25 mph zone a victim? Or are they only victims when they get caught? No! It was their choice to move faster than the law allows.

Selling drugs is a conscious choice. It is not part of some secret Government or New World Order conspriacy to enslave us all.

“This is Iowa, a state that is 96% white doted with churches and used car lots, things like that are foreign to us folk.”

Time Peter, has changed all that. And sad to say, there is no going back. I cannot see where we can insulate outselves from it either. With all honesty, we need to adapt to policies and proceedures a lot of big Suburban communities have, and the sooner the better for our own sake. Some may appear draconion for a small town. Without them, more of the same.

Normally I do not agree with Peter BUT this time he hit the nail on the head 100%. In fact I will supply the ammo to get rid of these POS.. They should have been executed years ago

They should be dead now!

Everytime I hear those names of Johnson and Honken I feel sick in the stomach. How could they kill 2 very young children in cold blood.Just imagine the family members on both sides of this every time their names are metioned.God bless those families that live with that. That why they need to die now. They must be alone in prison and don’t mingle with others or they would be dead already.Because even most people in prison don’t like child killers you got to think, hopefully.

Great idea Peter lets both of them go and live in some of these god fearing, save the world folks homes.

If you factor in the “Free World” pro death penalty is not in the majority. It cost much more to put someone to death than to jail them for life and that is the way it should be. There have been to many people on death row or put to death that have been proven innocent later. Death is forever and mistakes can’t be corrected. Life with out parole is the best. Living in a 4 by 7 foot cell and only getting out of it for 5 hours a week would be a living hell that lasts much longer than the pain of death.

Peter-Once again I must agree with you in every respect. It is a travesty that these two animals are still alive and those young people are not. What the HELL is wrong with us that we let this kind of crap happen?

What is wrong is Judge Mark Bennett!! The damm fool overturned her sentence.

I would bury them up to their neck and let the families come and throw stones at them until they died. This might end some frustration for the families. Also with all the drug and gang activity in the north end I fill its time to start bull dozing some of the shitty property and burn the riff raff out of our town. Hang these gang bangers like the old days in town central. F**k the law lets do it on our own. Im tired of this shit happening in my home town!!!!!!!

Really?

Peter, This is a federal case not a state case. I personally think a death sentence is to good for her and Honken. I would much rather die than spend 30 or 40 years in a maximum security prison

Words are cheap and in Angela’s case, lies. Angela has never repented in her heart. She would be out doing the same things today if she hadn’t gotten caught.

Miss Johnson most likely be opening a daycare in the Mason City area before she enters eternity. On March 22, 2012 her death sentence was overturned by the District Court because of ineffectiveness of counsel.

Somewhere Pastor Ted, in the Bible I believe it says an eye for an eye.”

Didn’t Jesus forgive Killers!!!Jesus can forgive anyone as long as they repent and are meaningful for their wrong doings to become saved.I’m not condoning Johnson or Honken’s behavior but they will be punished one way or another.

Bring them back to the area. They will fit in seamlessly with what is residing in Mason City now. In fact, they would be looked upon as fine business people in comparison to the HUD trash that is moving into the area.

Yes, they would be given a honorary MBA from NIACC for their entrepreneurial prowess.

Your robe is showing brother…

I can assure you there are no white sheets in my house.
