MASON CITY – A whole week of messy Spring Break fun for students in grades 1 through 6 is planned for Monday, March 12 through Friday, March 16 from 8:00 a.m. until noon each day at the MacNider Art Museum.  Registration is now open for the camp, which will have a recycled/green theme, complete with kinetic yard art, clay projects, mobiles and working on the Museum’s Band Festival float.

Whether they pursue individual projects that capture their imagination or join with friends to create large-scale art, campers will have lots of opportunities to experiment with varied materials and learn new skills.  The emphasis of the camp will be on creativity and good times.  Camp directors are Debbie Balek and Jan Willeke.  Cost of the week is $66, museum members $59.  More information is available by checking www.macniderart.org or by calling 641-421-3666 to register.
