The Cerro Gordo and Winnebago County Conservation Boards and Lime Creek Nature Center are sponsoring a motor coach trip to the International Festival of Owls in Houston, Minnesota on Saturday, March 3.
The festival features internationally-known speakers, live owls, and a variety of owl programs and activities for children and adults. For more information on the festival visit their website at: http://www.festivalofowls.com/.
The trip will depart from the Lime Creek Nature Center parking lot at 7 a.m. and will make another pick up at the Winnebago County Courthouse in Forest City at 7:40 a.m.; attend the festival from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.; and return at approximately 7:30 p.m. in Forest City and 8:10 p.m. at the Lime Creek Nature Center.
Cost for the trip is $30 for adults (18 and over) and $15 for youth (17 and under), which covers transportation and entrance fee to the festival. Lunch and dinner is not included in the fee.
