John Jacob Sieh, aged 88, passed away on November 4th, 2024. He was a beloved husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 9, 2024, with a luncheon at 12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. A time of sharing of memories will be held at1:30 p.m. with visitation following until 4:00 p.m., at the Ventura Community Center, 4 Weimer Street, Ventura, Iowa 50482.
John was born on June 21, 1936 in Akin, Minnesota, where he spent his formative years. After graduation he enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1961. Later, John worked as a maintenance supervisor, but found his true joy as a gunsmith and gun dealer. John built lifelong friendships and was loved by many.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gun shows. He was an active member of the Ventura Gun Club and a faithful supporter of Ducks Unlimited.
John is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Sieh. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
