HUMBOLDT – A Northern Iowa woman died when a Toyota driver pulled directly into her lane and crashed head-on into her Suzuki motorcycle.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident took place Saturday night, September 21, 2024 in Humboldt county. At 8:12 PM that evening, just north of Humboldt on Highway 169, 56-year-old Reggie Clark of Humboldt was northbound on Highway 169 when he pulled his 2017 Toyota Corolla into the left lane to make a left turn at 1731 Lincoln Avenue. At the same time, a southbound 2000 Suzuki sport bike motorcycle driven by 40-year-old Angela Zeigler approached and was then hit head-on by the Toyota.

As a result of the collision, Zeigler was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Humboldt sheriff, EM, fire, a medical examiner and Jergen’s Towing.
