Memorial service for Mary McRoberts will be held at 2:00pm Friday August 9th at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy, MN. Visitation will be held Thursday August 8th from 4:00pm-6:00pm also at First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy.

Mary McRoberts, age 79, of LeRoy, MN passed away Monday August 5, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St Marys Campus in Rochester, MN. Mary Louise Feather was born May 11, 1945 in Mason City, IA to Eugene and Hattie (Swyter) Feather. She attended the Oakdale country school and High School in Riceville, IA graduating in 1964. Following High School, she attended La` James Cosmetology School in Mason City, IA. On May 15, 1965 she was united in marriage to Kenneth McRoberts at First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy and together they raised three children; Dave, Clint and Brenda. Over the years Mary worked at the Red Owl in LeRoy, would do haircuts and styling out of her home, did house painting and wallpapering and worked at the Truck Stop in Chester, IA but her most important job was that of a homemaker raising her family. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed going to the casino with her close friends. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses and liked listening to 50s and 60s music, playing cards, watching birds, going for manicures and pedicures and watching her favorite TV shows. Over the years she was a meticulous lawn mower and loved her flowers. She is survived by her children; Dave (Jill) McRoberts, Clint (Lynn Freerksen) McRoberts and Brenda (Kyle Hanson) McRoberts, her grandchildren; Jennifer (Garrett), Katrina (Chris), Rylie, Jade, Natasha (Jeremy), Michele, Shawn (Mariah), Kayla (Jordan), Haley, Emily (Devon), and Bryce, 10 great-grandchildren and one brother Bill (Lila) Feather. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth (who she missed terribly every day), her parents Eugene and Hattie, her mother and father in-law Marion and Lyle, her sister in-law Fern (George) and grandson Alex.
