H Milton Duesenberg, 88, of Clear Lake, IA, passed away October 22, 2022 at Lake Mills Care Center in Lake Mills, IA.
Per his wishes, there will be no visitation and a graveside service for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
H Milton was born September 1, 1934 in Waucoma, IA, son of Milton and Annievieve (Johnson) Duesenberg. He graduated from Clear Lake High School with the class of 1952. On April 13, 1952 he was united in marriage to Lois Marie James. His working years were spent doing road construction. Following his retirement, his passion for history led him to the history room at the Clear Lake Public Library. He worked there for many years and loved every moment of it.
H is survived by his daughters, Linda (Chip) Stelter, Gail Bridgeland, and Dana Jo Duesenberg; grandchildren, Shawn (Reagan) Stelter, Sheila Stelter, and Shelley Milton (Kyle) Vrchota; great-grandchildren; Taylor (Thomas) Teav, Paxton, Kingston, and Sorenson Bloom; great-great grandchildren, Cilian Teav and baby Teav due in 2023; sisters, Beverly Moeller and Dana Sue Martin; niece, Ann (Bill) Rickord; nephews, John (Amy) and Richard (Denise) Moeller; Jeff (Shelly) and Roland (Donna) Martin and their families.
H was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Lois; his parents; brothers-in-law Michael Moeller and Bill Martin; Niece Eva Irene Martin; and great-grandsons Tate John and Bruce Vrchota.
