MANCHESTER, IOWA – An Iowa man was arrested after brandishing a gun at a Walmart store to intimidate a woman.
On October 31, 2020, at approximately 1:07 PM, Manchester, Iowa police were called to 1220 West Main Street in Manchester, Iowa. The complainant advised the officer she was at Walmart when she approached a person whom she knew. The person’s husband approached the victim and displayed a firearm and made a threatening statement. An investigation of the complaint supported the complainant’s statements. As a result, 31-year-old Ryan Francis Leppert of Manchester was arrested on charges of Assault While Displaying a Weapon (Aggravated Misdemeanor) and Harassment 1st Degree (Aggravated Misdemeanor).
