DECORAH – Two people were busted in Decorah with meth after a search warrant was executed.
On July 30, 2020 the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Hilltop Drive in Decorah. The search warrant was a result of a lengthy investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. The search warrant resulted in 2 subjects arrested and charged:
Crystal Novak, age 42 of Decorah, was jailed and charged with serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine.
Justin Bonnette, age 48 of Denver, Iowa, was jailed and charged with serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine.
This case remains under investigation, with additional arrests and charges pending. The Winneshiek County Attorney’s Office and Decorah Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office with the search warrant.
