ESTHERVILLE – The No. 6 Iowa Lakes wrestling team topped NIACC 44-5 in an ICCAC dual meet Wednesday night.
Iowa Lakes won seven of the eight contested matches.
The lone NIACC win came from 125-pounder Arie Reyes (2-8). Reyes claimed a 22-5 technical fall over the Lakers’ Christian Nichols.
The Lakers picked up falls from top-ranked David Hollingsworth at 157 pounds and fourth-ranked Bumni Smith at 174 pounds.
NIACC returns to action Jan. 18 at the University of Nebraska-Kearney duals.
