CHARLES CITY – Police were called when a Charles City man tried to break down a storage unit door.
The incident took place on the evening of March 17, 2017. Charles City police were called to the 1400 block of Gilbert Street on a report of a subject breaking down a storage closet door. After an investigation, police arrested 24-year-old Justin Schultz of Charles City on a charge of fifth-degree criminal mischief.
Several days later, Schultz pled guilty and was ordered to pay $222.75 in fines and court fees.
