DES MOINES – On Friday, February 10th, Gov. Terry E. Branstad appointed Andrew B. Chappell as judge to the 6th Judicial District.
Chappell, age 45, is a graduate of the University of Iowa and Michigan State University. He was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert E. Sosalla.
District 6 includes Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn and Tama Counties. Information and a map of District 6 can be found here.
