DES MOINES – The Guyana alien who was hired by an all-female Des Moines school board to oversee the state’s largest school district that spends millions of dollars a year on thousands of students and employees was booked into the Polk county jail this afternoon, in the custody of United States Marshalls.

Ian Andre Roberts was booked in at 4 PM today, at the Polk county jail. According to the sheriff’s office there, “Today the United States Marshal Service (USMS) presented Ian Andre Roberts to our facility at 4:00 PM. He is currently being held on a USMS Hold. Any further questions related to his detention should be directed to the United States Attorneys Office for the Southern District of Iowa.” He has been in the Woodbury and Pottawattamie county jails, previously.

In a new development, the Des Moines Register reported today that Polk county deputies served a no-contact order to Roberts in August 2023, and that it was sealed, so the reason it was issued by a judge was not clear, other than it came from Missouri.

The New York Post reported that people they interviewed said “Roberts was a sketchy figure and pathological liar. They said they felt he was hired because of his Diversity, Equity and Inclusion bona fides — and claimed once on the job he did little work.

“He was a player. He liked the women,” a source who knew Roberts, who asked not to be named, told The Post. They also reported that he told different persons the number of children that he has, which has reportedly been as many as 6, with up to 6 different women.  He also claimed to have numerous education degrees, but one college after another has come out and claimed they never gave him any degree.

Federal authorities have charged Roberts with possessing firearms while in the U.S. illegally, in addition to all his other legal troubles.  He has a final order of removal from the United States, which is over a year old.

NIT previously reported that Roberts has been formally kicked out of his Superintendent job and had his education license revoked.
