On October 6, 2016 at about 7:19 PM, Cerro Gordo County Deputies responded to a traffic collision involving injuries. A 2005 Ford F-150 driven by Logan Wilcke, 19, of Clear Lake was traveling southbound when it rear-ended a 2002 Ford Escape that was slowing down due to a vehicle in front of them making a right-hand turn. The Ford Escape was driven by Kenneth Vickers, age 41 of Charles City.

Both Wilcke and Vickers were not injured during the collision.
